 Dean Close is a co-educational school community of more than 900 pupils aged 2 to 18 nestled in the beautiful regency town of Cheltenham. For military families, Dean Close is one of the UK's most popular all-through boarding and day schools and offers a generous military discount, irrespective of rank. Of the 350 boarders at Dean Close, 150 are from military families, and boarding plays a key role in life of the School.

Dean Close is 50% boarding and 50% day, and with 9 bespoke boys’ and girls’ houses and mixed Junior Boarding House designed specifically for girls and boys aged 7-10, boarding is a thriving element in life at Dean Close. The facilities at Dean Close include three theatres and large performing spaces, a 550 seat professional theatre (the largest in Cheltenham!), two state-of-the-art astroturf pitches, a 25m indoor heated swimming pool, climbing wall, dance studio and fully equipped gymnasium. Whether it's hockey or equestrian, acting or photography, design tech or cookery with Leiths, every child is given the opportunity to find their passion and flourish.

Dean Close has an outstanding Futures Programme which prepares children for the next stage in their lives. 90% of pupils go on to University, and others to degree apprenticeships and direct into careers.
